HandHugs were designed for one very familiar family moment: putting on gloves.
The wide-opening entry makes it easier for small hands to slip in and helps kids put on and take off their gloves independently. Interchangeable charms turn HandHugs into their own personal companion.

What age are HandHugs suitable for?
HandHugs are designed specifically for children aged roughly 2 to 5.
- Size M: approx. 2–3 years
- Size L: approx. 3–5 years
Since children's hands vary in size, we recommend taking a quick measurement before ordering and choosing the right size using our size chart. A simple measuring guide shows you exactly how it's done.
Why finger gloves for such young children?
Because little hands have a lot going on outside. Digging, climbing, collecting, and holding on – individual fingers give kids more freedom of movement than a classic mitten.
That way, small hands stay not just warm, but ready for big adventures too.
Why do HandHugs have a side zip?
Because five little fingers sometimes have a mind of their own.
The side zip opens the glove wide and gives small hands more room to slip in. That makes it easier to get every finger where it belongs – without pulling, tugging, or endless helping hands.
Can kids really put HandHugs on by themselves?
That's exactly what HandHugs were designed for. They're meant to help kids manage putting on and taking off their gloves on their own.
Of course, every child is different, and sometimes it takes a bit of practice. But that's exactly the point: trying it yourself, practicing, and one day proudly saying: I can do this.
What if my child has never liked gloves before?
Some kids don't like the tight squeeze of getting gloves on, or quickly lose patience when their fingers don't land exactly where they should.
HandHugs give small hands more room while putting them on and make exactly that moment easier. The charms also add a bit of personality and fun to getting dressed.
Do HandHugs keep hands warm in cold, snow, and wet weather?
HandHugs are designed for cold days and little outdoor adventures. We're planning warming, breathable, and water-resistant materials that reliably protect small hands in everyday cold, snow, and wet conditions.
We'll publish the final details on material, warmth, and water resistance before launch, once product development and testing are complete.
What are the HandHugs Charms?
Our charms are small, interchangeable designs with real HandHugs character.
They feature our very own HandHugs character in fun little everyday moments. The charms can be collected and swapped again and again – depending on your child's favorite design, mood, or adventure.
How are the charms attached, and are they safe?
The charms attach to the glove via a specially developed snap-button system and can be swapped out.
Since HandHugs are designed for young children, product safety is our top priority. We'll publish all final details on materials and safety transparently as soon as the relevant testing is complete.
What's included with a pair of HandHugs?
Every pair of HandHugs comes with two charms.
There will also be a separate set of 3 additional charms available, for collecting and swapping.
What do HandHugs cost?
A pair of HandHugs costs €24.99 at launch, including two charms – this price applies to the first 150 orders, after which it's €32.99.
The additional set of 3 charms costs €12.99 (€16.99 afterward), and the Complete Set starts at €32.99 (€42.99 afterward).
How do I care for HandHugs properly?
HandHugs are made for real kids' adventures – and those can definitely get a little messy sometimes.

What if the size doesn't fit after all?

Where are HandHugs made?
HandHugs are manufactured by a specialized production partner in China.
When choosing our materials and production partners, we place great importance on quality, product safety, and the relevant European requirements for our products.
Why aren't HandHugs made in Europe?
That's a question we asked ourselves first. Before making our decision, we looked closely into production in Europe and talked to several manufacturers. In the end, that would have made the gloves simply unaffordable for many families – and that's exactly what we didn't want.
To us, China doesn't stand for mass-produced goods – it's long been home to highly specialized manufacturing too. We deliberately chose a production partner that specializes in exactly this kind of product – with an eye on fair working conditions, recognized certifications, and standards comparable to those upheld by European companies.
One thing is non-negotiable for us: quality, safety, and fair treatment of the people who make HandHugs – no matter where production happens.
